3 years old!

I can't believe it, but in ten days my baby will be 3! The last three years have been filled with joy, happiness, sadness, and frustration; but we wouldn't change it for the world. From the day he arrived he has kept us on our toes.

Mason Alexander is very stubborn, outgoing, cuddly, and loving. The first year of his life brought many sleepless nights and trips to the doctor. In three short years, one little guy has been through a lot, but we are all stronger for it.

Everyday, Mason teaches us something new. We love him very much and can't wait to watch him grow into a great young man!

Finally a bright spot!

The last couple of months have been full of uncertainty and stress around our house. With Ryan's job ending in Sept. '09 and the search for a new job, everyone has been on edge.

Finally we got some good news. Ryan has been putting his applications in wherever he can and it has finally paid off. He is getting called for interviews left and right. He has done a couple of phone interviews with companies other than Intel, but he hasn't heard anything back yet.

Last week, the kids and I were outside weeding the flowerbeds and this is what we found! I love this time of year.
